There are several different types of beaches close to the property.
Bilina beach is the closest (5 minute walk from the villa) and the most popular because of its unspoiled natural beauty. It is a very tranquil beach and it never gets busy. It has a pebble and stone shore with flat rocks suitable for sunbathing. There are lots of rock pools which always fascinate children. A very popular beach for all the family.
Cesminica beach is the main local beach and is also very attractive. Approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the property. It offers a pebbly and stoney shore with a sandy shallow bottom. This beach is suitable for children and there is a coffee shop here just selling refreshments.
The beach in Mlaska Bay is very attractive but slightly out of town – approximately 4 kms so best reached by car or bikes. It is a mixture of sand, pebbles and concrete. It offers a sandy shallow bottom which is great for children. There is camping site here so it can get a bit busy at times. There is a restaurant here serving meals and selling refreshments.
Perna bay is wonderful and perfect if you are planning on renting a boat during your stay. This beach is not easily accessible on foot. It has a shallow sandy bottom and is truly beautiful, great for swimming and snorkeling.
At Villa Palma, we can offer complimentary use of beach gear including beach mats, inflatables, snorkels, buckets/spades etc. These are available on a first come first served basis.
At Villa Palma we do provide beach towels for your stay however we would recommend that you think about bringing sea shoes (non slip for entering water) or purchasing these locally in town.
