Hvar Town, Starigrad and Jelsa are all lovely towns and well worth a trip. Although bear in mind that in the peak of the season Hvar Town may be busy and crowded.

Sućuraj is 77 km away from Hvar, 61 km from Stari Grad and 50 km from Jelsa. Bus lines to the rest of the island do exist but are fairly rare (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). There is a taxi service available from Sucuraj. There are lots of other beautiful spots on the island… too many to mention here but please don’t hesitate to contact us for more suggestions/recommendations.

Also day trips to Split and Dubrovnik are also possible from Sucuraj. With both cities approx 2 to 2.5 hours away by car.

During the summer months there are organized boat trips departing from Sucuraj to island Korcula. For more information and tickets visit the exchange office in Sucuraj.

Departure everyday at 07:00h and return at 14:30h. Price is cca 130 kn for person and the lunch at the boat is included.
